Two nation cases today with England to come are 3726

Last week at this stage it was 3799.

England last week added 39, 624 to total 43, 423

Yesterday England added 41, 745 to the four nation total of 49, 298

135 all settings deaths - it was 148 last week - but Scotland deaths missing is why there is a fall

125 of those in England - it was 123 last week - so only a small rise

44,985 cases - it was 43,423 last week

England only 41,259 - it was 39,624 last week

Looking like we have hit the peak again doesn’t it, I expect (hope) it to stay around the same for the next week then start to slowly drop if it follows all the other patterns.

MORE AFTER THE MATCH - QUICK HEADLINE ONLY

NW 4559 cases - down 530.

Greater Manchester 1689 - down just 127 of that 530 - well under par.

NW down week to week by 56 from 4615

Greater Manchester though is UP by 81 from 1608

So not great numbers but small changes week to week so minimal damage.

IN GM Salford had lowest score on just 113 - down 10 week to week.

Stockport had its best day in some time with 189 - down 96 on the day and down 53 week to week.

Trafford actually was UP week to week (by 29) on 223 for first time in a while.

It lost a huge Pop Score chunk to Stockport again today 94 v 65 - giving Stockport a lead now of 338

Manchester top scored on 271 - up just 7 week to week.

Only Manchester and Trafford topped 200 today. But nobody under Salford's 113.

Hope you are right. It is always down on Saturdays because Wales posts no data on this day. So the UK is down 3000 or so from the off just for that reason.

Notes: Salford on the day it was best in GM entered the 17K club as the second GM member, Cruel irony that happens so often. Now 324 behind Oldham which has the highest POP score across the pandemic. But these two are doing the best in GM today.

Stockport had a good day today and did well enough to gain 29 more points back from Trafford and increase its lead as the lowest POP score across the pandemic to now be 338. And these two have been close to top of the cases for past weeks.

You would have to say this is no coincidence.

Manchester is two or three weeks away from becoming the first GM borough to clock up 100,000 cases across the pandemic, And hopefully the last as nobody else is anywhere near doing so inevitably as Manchester is easily the biggest borough - explaining why 271 cases only creates a POP Score today of 49.
