It is a forum.. If somebody who doesn’t want to have the vaccine they might want to discuss or air their views that in your opinion are just spouting shite.. The pro vaxxers can then argue their case , some , the ones that don’t wish death on the above can sometimes change their minds into having it ..

I wonder if the majority of Mail readers really are unhinged anti-vax loonies or whether there are bots involved. If it’s the former we really do have a big problem in this country with nut jobs. If it’s the latter the management of the Mail must know and allow it to happen which means they are actively encouraging anti-vax conspiracy bollocks for their own ends.

Is it time to suggest that if you're unvaccinated without medical reason then you're liable for any hospitalisation costs? Sounds harsh but these people are ruining the NHS

It allows anti-Vaxxers a platform to spout their shite without the need to back it up with stats. They then will be called out by pro-vaxxers.

Neither will shift their position and people will just get more and more irate.

What a sorry state of affairs . Someone says

you can get the numbers from the gov website.

and the whole thread gets split and the biggest contributor to the thread for the last 18 months feels criticised.

the data is interesting , you can pick and choose what you want to see and can you really debate the rounder issues without the numbers to see the trends. ?

of course we can get data from elsewhere it’s not designed for only bluemoon users to know , it’s a worldwide thing with data available everywhere but for many it’s been the best place to come on a daily basis to get the figures and trends.

It's a sad state of affairs that the Daily Mail is the most read newspaper in the UK. It's political agendas are so obvious. It's more like a propaganda mouthpiece to the far right.

Judging by the comments section, its readership is mostly anti-vax, anti-EU (especially French and Germans), anti-Meghan/Harry, anti-Biden, anti-immigrant, pro-Boris, pro-Trump, pro-Brexit and England First.

Not every article fits into one of the above categories but it's clearly targeted at that demographic.

Yep and they’ll ignore it and counter it with some theory of theirs.

The stats are a vital part of our response to Covid.

Removing them makes it a free for all.
