More awful news for lockdown lovers, Tory haters and mask fetishisers today as cases come in at 30k.
How can there be 30k cases in one day? You said on 23 March that the pandemic was over.
This pandemic is over in the UK.
We have >40m either vaccinated or infected with this virus, of which all of the most at risk groups are included.
This pandemic is over in the UK. Only a fool couldn't see that.

Though there were only cases from 3 nations today as Wales do not post numbers on a Saturday.

But cases are falling and have been for some time. The week to week drop today was one of the largest yet.

Though NW is not falling as much as the southern regions and is on course to become the highest region again soon.

GM also did relatively poorly falling only 100 or so of the 1000 week to week fall by the region. Well below its population share. Manchester was actually up today by 104 cases day to day.

Full data in the other thread from today if anybody wants to see the nuance.

You need to tell the families of the 15000 people that have died of Covid since then as well as the hundreds of thousands that still have symptoms. I’m sure they’ll all be relieved to hear it was all over in March.
Yeah but loads die everyday of other shit like, you mask fetish wearing Tory hating jab loving housebound mardy pants.

She would’ve been eligible for ages surely? I know you’ve posted about her frustrations but surely you don’t need to wait for the doctors to give you a ring?

My mum is in her mid 60s, no health conditions and was booked in for her booster a couple of weeks ago but had to cancel as she had a cold. She’s having it done on Thursday now.

Your friend will have been way above her in the pecking order..?
Had my pre booked booster 11am appointment at the Etihad today, about 55 minutes process (just got home to Ashton for the kick off). Staff are brilliant, so helpful but my wife had her 1st and 2nd there which was about 20 mins. One of the Medical staff said it’s longer because you can just use the “walk in” facility. If you’re worried just turn up.

Had mine yesterday at a pharmacy in Whalley Range. In and out in less than 10 minutes and got a flu jab as well.
