In my lifetime I would have have thought that I would promote people being fined but sod it, many businesses have had to shut for months and are losing money due to tossers flouting the rules. Start fining £10k, make a few examples and people will begin to think twice about arranging gatherings etc.

I'd like their faces shown on TV. Named and shamed then locked up for 6 months min.

It going on tv is certainly a very modern thing, I agree. I assume it was them, and not the police who first did so.

It sounds as though the police were waiting for anyone turning up, and going directly to the fine does seem harsh. Might've a buildup of several days for that force, but the BBC advice says you can exercise with one other person - whether 5 miles is 'local' is more awkward. There was a retired senior policeman on at the weekend saying it's undefined.

I agree mate that the penalty seems harsh. Some of those coppers would have done a better job outside Marine’s ground I reckon

Mrs Gaz's gran is 85 and got her letter to go for her first jab on Friday, I filled the details in on the NHS website on Saturday morning and because she needs an accessible toilet and step access the closest place they offered was Birmingham!!

If she didn't need any access she could have had it done at the Etihad, told her id take her and help her in even if I had to fucking carry her (she's nearing 20 stone) and she could piss next to the car but she's seen her arse and said she only wants it done at her doctors now, I imagine there's thousands of over 80s in the same boat regarding access needs and being stubborn tossers

Surprised they've managed to arrest anybody, the Police have gone missing during this pandemic, probably working from home

Half a dozen in a van at that Derbyshire reservoir deliberately positioned and waiting for the easy targets like walkers. So that's six not on the streets.
Derbyshire Police Commissioner doesn't seem happy about that but the DCC of Cornwall supports the principle. The same force featured on tv where they constantly complained of lack of manpower to respond to 999 calls.

Very true. One of the walkers looks like a model so the media’s sense of public interest goes out of the window.

Yes they weren't dressed in the mobile graffiti favoured by the Ramblers Association when they posed for the press pics.
But the police should not lurk in numbers at country parks waiting for victims.
Having said that people who carry tea or coffee around in plastic cups need locking up;).

Tested positive this morning. I'm usually fit and healthy, let's see how this thing goes.

Started feeling a bit cold and shivery, developed a cough. Take the odd coughing fit once every hour or so where it's a bit of a struggle for breath, otherwise ok for now. Also I'd say sore muscles as well, back uncomfortable and jaw was aching whilst eating a packet of crisps......strange one.

Antibodies or is that bull to?

I posted the other day that my step mother had antibodies 2/3 months ago after doing the antibody test, she’s just tested positive for Covid via a normal test last Thursday.

Tested positive this morning. I'm usually fit and healthy, let's see how this thing goes.

Started feeling a bit cold and shivery, developed a cough. Take the odd coughing fit once every hour or so where it's a bit of a struggle for breath, otherwise ok for now. Also I'd say sore muscles as well, back uncomfortable and jaw was aching whilst eating a packet of crisps......strange one.
