Sorry, yeah you’re right. Have fixed it now. Just to clarify, that wasn’t a conspiracy in itself.
yeah, yeah. That's just what you want me to think.

Another fuck up by this lot, they have been given the tools to finish the job but are fucking about again. Medical decisions should not be taken by politicians, the doctors should tell them to fuck off, just watch if they stop giving the second dose people will start dropping who have had the first.Doctor on Radio 4 claiming that doctors have been asked to give only one dose but given discretion to continue giving the second dose, which explains why there is no uniformity yet.

Not entirely sure this is a political decision. The medical profession is urging that single doses be given, but the GPS who have to go through the administrative work of contacting and explaining and facing their patients would, understandably, prefer to deliver on their promise. There simply is not the supply to meet demand, so it’s hard to see the double dose regimen lasting.
The politicians have created unrealistic expectations, however, in terms of delivering vaccines, when it has been is widely known that, for a variety of reasons, manufacturers simply cannot meet demand. Looking down the line, one wonders what will happen in 12 weeks if there are insufficient doses to give people the follow-up booster.
I thought the dosage shortage was only with the Pfizer, but AZ were able to rapidly produce so that the Oxford one isn't an issue in terms of supply, or have I misread?
That's interesting, there was a rumour going round at my work just before we finished for Christmas that our German owned company had bought a load of vaccines from Germany for us all. We were all a bit sceptical thinking it would have to be UK approved vaccines for them to be able to do this. Fingers crossed its true then, for us anywayI believe the first AZ doses are coming from Germany, and that much of the production will then come from the UK, but not all. I think there are/will be global supply issues (glass vials/hypodermic needles) that will soon slow the distribution of all vaccines. Imagine that is a determining factor in the abrupt change in regimen.
That’s the problem in 12 weeks if they don’t have enough then it starts again, just vaccinate those who’ve been done, it’s a tough choice but just get it done, they have a chance to put out a fire not just damp it down for it to flair again in 12 weeks for some. Yes others will get burned along the way but otherwise you’ll just end up chasing it for ever. Not entirely sure this is a political decision. The main problem isn't the supply of oxygen running out , it's distributing it arond the hospital, it is supplied to the hospital in liquid form to a bulk store , it then has to be evaporated and distributed through the pipe lines. particularly in cold weather you can only evaporate a certain amount of oxygen otherwise it freezes up and the flow falls.how can hospitals run dry of oxygen,i can understand certain drugs etc but not oxygen
