In the first, proper lockdown, the site was closed. Not in
I don’t think it was ever the Governments intention shutting down sites or manufacturing in the first lockdown, a lot of it was places shutting while they got a COVID protocol in place , I can’t see them shutting down in any further lockdown.

I agree. I don’t think we’ll ever see a lockdown like the first one. We’ve now got ’bubbles’ on the social front and companies are now far more aware of what they can and can’t do.

It’s not in a range/ pitch and put, you need to go inside to pay and driving ranges are often under some form of cover.

At our course I can rock up and not be within 20 yards of someone outside, at all times.

It’s probably safer than a walk.

But I wouldn’t go to a driving range now.
I’ve never been to either (:

I didnt realise.

Some fucking lockdown this bollocks.
Golf courses were the first thing to open in April-May and they’ve stuck it to 2 balls only going out and members only.

I wouldn’t even need to go near anyone to play and it’s no different than going for a walk.

Even playing with someone outside my house, you spend nearly the whole day 20+ yards away, especially if you’re shit like me.

You’re not allowed to touch flags and the bunker rakes aren’t there.

Id argue it’s safer than a walk down the canal, as you’re further apart from others.

Driving ranges and pitch and put is a different story though, I would close them.

Need a four week minimum national lockdown as we did in March / April. Obvious exceptions such as food stores etc staying open but pretty much everything else closed and no loopholes. Work from home, schools closed send, universities online. Give to country a chance to drive down infections and to roll out vaccine in huge numbers.
It's not hard is it?

I just drove past that one near the Trafford centre. Was packed.
