North West tonight says the north west are due to have the vaccine scaled back in order to serve other areas with it, we don’t have enough vaccine do we?

I hope if that is true some journalist asks why they would even consider that with the one area where the hospital data and the cases data is not coming down like the rest are.

If they do this even I might be out there protesting.

Hopefully Andy Burnham tells them where to go.

Particularly as the regional data I posted yesterday shows that Yorkshire with the lowest case numbers for weeks and lowest percentage of the new variant has been getting more vaccine than any other region.

I cannot see any conceivable reason this story about the NW could be true. Or if true based on any evidence.

And if it is true there needs to be a demand to explain why.

Never mind Scotland leaving the union. At this rate Brigantia will be leaving too

I've just done an antibody test as part of a random survey by Imperial College and to my surprise it was positive showing IgM antibodies. I have never had any symptoms or felt at all like I might have it and I'm 66, which makes it all the more strange.

A GP from Fleetwood said “this is decade after decade of ignoring public health warnings, with obesity being a far larger problem than it should be”.

It’s not just being fat, but also not ingesting the right or enough nutrients to live healthily. And I’ve found that it’s cheaper to eat a healthy diet than it is an unhealthy one.

I’ve been saying throughout this that we need a health revolution after Covid has passed. I hope it happens!

On Friday 23rd - 491,970 people had their 1st vaccination.

Yesterday the figure was 279,757?

There will always be daily fluctuations due the the enormous logistical task.

We need to average around 250 to 300k a day to hit all our targets.

I have been a volunteer now for a few weeks and I can assure you all the medics on site each day are still doing their day job as well as fitting in the vaccinations

I'm 31 and I don't recall even having economics classes

Never got taught about NI, how to apply for a mortgage and how to manage money basically ( up for debate if that is the schools responsibility)

I do believe Schools should have a 1 or 2 hour lesson a week on what to eat, the benefits of eating healthy, even being taught nice and cheap healthy meals. Even mental health classes should be priority in this day and age with social media causing havoc.

I don't have any kids so I don't know if any of the above is taught?

Could you imagine in 20 / 30 years time how much strain would be reduced on the NHS if kids starting learning how to look after themselves properly?

I am convinced that the last thing the Government want it a population who know how to manage money for themselves, its no coincidence that the rich let the money work for them through investments etc..

The economy relies on people spending what they have, as they say give a poor person £500 and he will spend it on food, entertainment and the like, this spreads through society.
Give £500 to a rich person and they will just bank it and take it out of the system.

Surely this debate must be the most important thing of all. The poor underlying health of the nation underpins everything.

seems to be low numbers every sunday and monday. But both this weeks numbers are higher than last sunday and monday.
