Shit death numbers , i still cant get used to these numbers

yep But with the lag

cases down first

then hospitalisations

then deaths should start to fall as well.

especially given the vaccination now for the vulnerable and old in full tilt, surely it wont be long until it’s under 1000 again and falling

I had penicillin when I was a kid for bronchitis and I can remember the immune reaction to this day. Violent nausea.
Hope it goes well for you and your Mum. My Mum and Dad had the Pfizer vaccine. My Mum felt a little unwell for 48 hours, but my Dad was fine.

sounds bad!

yeah my other grand parents have had their second Pfizer vaccines about 3 week ago and had no issues

My mum works in the nhs and had the Astra Zeneca last week and felt a bit tired the day after, but fine since

Some bloke on newsnight last night, think he was a scientist, said he's expecting a final figure of between 150,000 to 200,000,because the same amount of people will die going down the slope as going up it. Shocking :(

if this row kicks off with the EU,could we still manage production in wales with the supply of raw matterials to produce it, i would assume it would delay the roll out with no incoming supplies from Belgium untill we upscale

That makes sense. And I agree about the deaths. Sadly well over what I had hoped we could be keeping it down to but likely inevitable once we decided to let what will no doubt come to be known as Killer Christmas to occur.

Though I know it would likely have been impossible to entirely prevent. Even had we tried that I don't think we did anywhere near enough.

How many visited their oldies as 'they have not seen us all year' and as a consequence will now not see them at all ever again.

I know how hard a decision this was about Christmas but this was tragically so predictable and was predicted - in here and no doubt lots of other places.

So I fear that will never reduce the sadness that we sleepwalked into a a tragedy worse than it needs to have been because the outcome was never in doubt.
Certainly looks like the bizarre desire for a “normal” Christmas is now playing out before our eyes

That 4 per cent positive tests figure is the best news we have had for months but as you say it will not be reported. The media coverage throughout has been amazingly one-dimensional and very politicised. Everything is led by the press conference agenda with hardly any independent journalism.
Thanks for posting this important information.

Lets hope we can squash that rate of infection even more and get these vaccines out to as many people as possible .

Think you summed it up some Bloke on News Night think he was a Scientist, there's a never ending supply of experts on TV and everyone of them seems to contradict the last one that was on

Normally I could see that, but I’d have thought those most vulnerable being vaccinated means not as many should die going down the slope as going up.
