I doubt it and I’m not sure Sweden and major countries goes together in the same sentence. Especially when the Swedish Government allowed its population to be part of an extremely dangerous Covid experiment. The higher portions of people who are refusing to take the vaccines are reported to be BAME and people within these ethnicities who don’t rely on the main stream media for their news.

The news will make some people planning to take the vaccine nervous but I doubt many will change their minds.

I just asked my friend now was the news bothering her as I wanted to give her the reassuring data on the AZ vaccine today in case the media reports were bothering her.

She has forgotten which one it was and never asked. So I said nothing.

That reassured me that most people jut see it as 'the vaccine' and assume it is all much of a muchness.

And at least it is better than my brother who was offered one vaccine, then changed to the other and a new appointment owing to contraindications of the first one on his medical record and now had both dates pulled as he needs to wait until free from Covid which he tested positive for after Christmas and has not entirely got rid of even now.

As he told me he will have what he gets when they reckon he should have it.

Right attitude.

Hopefully, all the vaccines will be proven to have high efficacy in the “real world”. FWIW There is a report in the MUEN tonight with a geriatrician expressing concerns about outbreaks in care homes, where residents have received the Pfizer BioNtech jabs. The geriatrician urges the 2nd doses to be given in care homes within the recommended 3 weeks.

How old was these people? Surely family members will be thinking wtf

remember someone else putting his ex had a big party and people got quite ill wondered what happened in there case

It's like two starving men debating whether fish and chips or curry is preferable.

I do worry with @Healdplace that the highly risk adverse decisions elsewhere will cause unwarranted hesitancy here.

Anyway, it removes any ethical motive to divert vaccine to Europe as they wouldn't be using it in high risk people anyway.

I think the U.K. will ultimately see enormous uptake of the vaccine, irrespective of manufacturer. The fact that it is being rolled out by the NHS and the armed forces is no coincidence. Those two institutions still enjoy enormous public respect, far greater than the government or any political party, and the fact that so many members of the public are also involved in administering the vaccines simply adds to the sense of collectivity. The NHS is the people and the people is the NHS.

There were 2 parties discussed one at my ex's & @worsleyweb 's ex.

4 positives from the one connected to me and all recovered, it must be pointed out that she is quite high up but public facing in the NHS.

Fines should be £5k per person and £20k for the organiser. Not only that everyone who is fined plus their immediate family should have to wait for their vaccine until everyone else has had it. They should also be refused NHS treatment for 12 months. Harsh and maybe disproportionate but these twats need to understand the jeopardy they are putting themselves and others in. This might just help them realise that their actions are selfish etc

Im not sure fines work. Listening to Jeremy Vine today who was talking to the gym owner who refuses to close. He's been fined 3 times and said he simply hasn't paid them. Each fine was £1k

Students, and they obviously don't give a toss. I'm off work shielding my wife and usually work in a student area and these fuckers are stopping me getting back to work

yes 12 of 14 got it. 11 over it in two weeks. 1 still very weak and off for a lung scan. Surprised the ex’s mum survived it to be honest.

both in their 50s ,no health issues, he died then two days later she died,said though in my previous post a while back over 100 people must have come and gone from that house during that week period
