Nowt to do with vaxed and unvaxxed at this point. If the NHS fails, even if it’s just 1 trust, everyone in that area suffers. Covid, flu, strokes, heart attacks, road accidents, cancer etc etc the list goes on.
It is when 85% being admitted are unvaxxed remove these and the NHS is not overwhelmed at all

so you think letting thousands of innocent people die is the answer?
The last time I checked, having no restrictions in place doesn’t mean everyone is forced to go out and interact with others.

The vast majority of people over the age of 18 are aware enough to make their own decisions. We all know the risks and people are welcome to take or not take those risks.

I’ve said it before that lockdowns should only be enforced if the NHS is blatantly on course to being in a position where they cannot care for people. Anything other than that then do not lock down.

The damages we saw from the last lockdown, we should be doing everything we possibly can to avoid it again.

Anyway the news out of SA continues to be better and better.

I wouldn't expect the country to lockdown and spend billions of pounds they can't afford for me. I've done all I can by being vaccinated. The selfish unvaxxed deserve no sympathy or help
anti-vaxxers don't want the country locked down either, it's only those vaccinated who don't have the confidence in what they've had injected into them who are pining for one.

If they don't want lockdowns then should get the vaccine. It's that simple. They are just selfish idiots
no, they aren't. You're just applying a minority subset to the whole group. None more selfish than people demanding mandatory treatments or punishing them by taking away freedoms they're entitled to in a civilised society.

what next? You did something unhealthy in your life and got a weight, drink, smoking, excess sugar related condition and we decide "na, you should have behaved according to how we dictate you should behave, you're not getting help". We can all throw stones, but there'll always be more people to throw them at us than we can throw by ourselves.

They are being offered help it's called a vaccine. Its not a hard concept if you wish to take from society you should contribute.

The country has been supporting, and excusing, selfish fuckers for longer than i can remember,so why the sudden upset?
How do you know he/she is suddenly upset? You don't mate. The forum over the years have discussed selfish fuckers plenty. It's a poor argument I'm afraid.

There is no medical or moral argument for not having a vaccine in the vast majority of cases so that leaves just one thing.

Some can't be arsed and prefer others to do the donkey work for them.

They already contribute

its a duff subject this though and a rather silly one.

as if the NHS/gov will stop treating people and let them die at home.
A total moot subject

Number of COVID patients in English hospitals up 48% in a week

A total of 10,462 people were in hospital in England with COVID-19 as of 8am on 29 December - an increase of 916 on Tuesday.

they are as likely to pay taxes as you, that's their contribution. As in life, there are a variety of forms of help available because one size doesn't fit all and nothing works perfectly.

I know it is so why get involved?

How have they contributed to fighting the virus?

Please say taxes so I can laugh

Someone did say taxes haha quality

I agree with this, it’s a non starter and will never happen anyway so probably not worth even discussing.

You are mixing up those in hospital because of covid and those who are in for something else who happen to have covid

Yesterdays numbers don't match up with yours.
We all know you don't want to go back into the office, mate but it's nothing a good nights sleep won't sort out.
