Coronavirus (2022) thread

Had to happen sooner rather than later. This lead to people stopping testing do we assume?

Are we actually going to be 'living with it' from now then?
Basically yes, if you get ill rather than is it a cold or flu now we will add in covid. Unless you feel really bad(hypochondriac wet dream) you decide if it's serious enough to stay off work, see the doctor or just wait for it to pass. Basically what we used to do in the good old days.

If anything serious develops we will know about it quickly. Fingers crossed that won't happen.

That's a bit depressing. I'm up to day 6 now and still banging in positive results. We were meant to be going away this weekend so I had thought I'd be well clear and able to go but starting to look doubtful now.
Actually, quick question for those who have been through this daily testing and isolation thing. Does the strength of the line on the LFT fade as you go through the process or is it not that clever and it's simply a case of there on one days test and then not there the next?

It varies but yes, it can fade through the process.

Ok ta. Even more fed up now then as the line is just as prominent today as it was when I first tested positive.

It was the same for my wife too, it was day 9 before she tested negative. Hers went from prominent to a fainter line in the evening and then completely gone the next day.
