Yes, there may or there may not be good scientific reasons for lifting some restrictions. Either way though boris isn’t doing it for any reason other than to try and distract and save his own skin.I have such little faith in this Government. I'm certain the only reason Boris is removing the isolation requirements is to give himself a bit of positive PR to try and save his job.
We're still at 60k+ cases per day announcing that change today could encourage people to stop isolating themselves right now, rather than following the rules until March. I'm happy that we're in the endgame, but I don't know if we could be pulling the trigger prematurely - surely the ideal time would be the beginning of April when the weather starts picking up?
