Who told them that ? As far as I know they were told wearing masks helps stop them spreading covid, same as the rest of us. Nobody accused me or anyone I know or any children they were granny killers. Only sataggering if you mis represent what children were told.
As I said earlier have you actually spoken to any children and asked them or are you just making assumptions that match your veiws.

Not sure how they’ve had to wear masks in his world as he suggested to me that they’d had 2 years off!

So, missing 2 years schooling is no big deal? Where does one begin with that pile? Having a week off to go on holiday is not allowed because they’ll fall back but having 18 months off is no big deal. Really?

That's a bit depressing. I'm up to day 6 now and still banging in positive results. We were meant to be going away this weekend so I had thought I'd be well clear and able to go but starting to look doubtful now.
Actually, quick question for those who have been through this daily testing and isolation thing. Does the strength of the line on the LFT fade as you go through the process or is it not that clever and it's simply a case of there on one days test and then not there the next?

Tested again today, day 12, still positive but line now very faint and takes longer to appear, initially the line appeared virtually immediately and was very strong. So must relate to how much “stuff” you have going on in nose and throat would be my guess.

Yes, really. You can be as outraged or sceptical as you want to be, but grown ups have been running schools.

Of course they aren’t where they would have been without Covid, but they haven‘t let kids go feral and have actually taught them stuff. They haven’t had 18 months off.

You're falling into the social media outrage of not being able to take your kids out of school for a week Willy nilly, but can for a deadly pandemic.

My wife’s 3 schools she’s a governor of are in Oldham.

However you wish to paint us as “middle class luvvies” doesn’t mean much as you are reaching to try to justify your argument by trying to belittle ours.

Whoever wants to get themselves ahead will still do so. It might take a few months more that it would have had Covid not happened, but it did. For all of us.
