The #PremierLeague restart could be as late as June 26 as medics and coaches debate how long they need to get players match fit. Clubs are hopeful they will at least hit June 19, with the prospect of a June 12 restart receding.

If clubs had anything about them, they should just say we are not playing until it's safe for the fans to return to the stadiums, that's all they have to say

While I agree, and think this is what should have happened, it would have implied that clubs care about match-going fans.

Therein lies the answer as to why no-one said anything.
