Is it about time that people on this forum who are complaining about football’s restart stop pretending they are the Bigger Blues??
I’m a really big blue but can’t say I’m sure about this restart
I’ve put some weight on during lockdown ;-)I am not sure about your bigger blue ratings lol

There's no evidence that footballers are putting themselves at risk for your entertainment, not in any meaningful way anyway.Really not looking forward to the game tonight, on one hand i want to see us play again but on the other hand i really have moral issues with a contact sport being played while the country are under social distancing measures.
Newcastle at Etihad, Liverpool still undecided I believe.
When have you seen players play competitive matches after three months off and then only three weeks of pre-season? Answer: you haven’t because normally no-one would be that bloody stupid. The injury risk is there and it is greater than it would be if they had a proper six weeks, like they would after only four or five weeks off in a normal summer. There's no evidence that footballers are putting themselves at risk for your entertainment, not in any meaningful way anyway.
My feeling is the other way around. I'll certainly watch the games but I don't feel the same hunger for it because as fans we're not involved and City's Premier League season has been empty for a while.
If you're telling me that we're living in abnormal strange times, I agree. I also agree footballers have an increased risk of injury but that's not a good enough reason not to restart. When have you seen players play competitive matches after three months off and then only three weeks of pre-season?
