The European Clubs’ Association tried to put into place a uniform football calendar but English football is potentially behind the curve in the spread of COVID-19 and the worst is yet to come. There is a fear games may not be played again for months

Premier League clubs will fight any attempts from broadcasters to fine them up to £750M should they fail to complete the season. Top-flight clubs would not accept financial punishments lightly and have already started preparing for that scenario.

The Premier League has come under fire for cancelling freelance shifts and not paying cash-strapped workers. A number of emails were sent by Premier League Productions to workers stating services are no longer needed on certain dates with the league on lockdown

This time last week Spain had 2k confirmed cases of COVID-19, that's the same as the UK are reporting so far this week. A week later Spain had 7k confirmed cases. If anyone thinks there is going to be any football between now and the end of the year, then they are delusionists. I think both UEFA and the PL are just being cruel to Dippers by even giving them a semblance of hope that this season will be completed. Close but no cigar boys, sorry

I thought mentally deranged people were confined to one institution. It seems the doors were thrown open and the inmates have ended up in places such as UEFA, FA, PL, Sky and many other places.
There is a solution that European governments could implement to stop this stupidity of trying to rearrange games - any gathering of FIVE people is prohibited.

It has taken China the best part of 4 months to get back to any kind of normality
Working of that logic would suggest that football in this country could start sometime in July.
And that is a very big COULD ,personally I wouldn't believe anything that comes out of China at the moment and see very little hope of any sport in this country until October

That’s only if our Govt weld our front doors shut and arrest people who leave their homes.

Id be surprised if life got back to normal here in Britain before the Winter.

I can see us playing in May again. With or without Fans. I doubt that the Corona Virus is going to keep the economy on an all time low. It‘s like games. Once u cleared the first wave it‘s getting easier.

We are at the very very beginning. We have not and will not take the measures China have and it will be with us for a considerable amount of time.
