I think the way the football authorities have conducted themselves and some of the press is quite disgraceful.
Thousands are dying each day yet all the press, the prem and the FA do is magic up start dates and permutations every day.
Suggesting players and officials could get tested so they can start games again..
Completely forgetting about workers in the NHS and care homes who have not even been tested.
They need to take a long hard look at themselves. Personally I dont care about football at all at the moment.

And play will be stopped after each player touches the ball for it to be disinfected, before another player can touch it.

If they add time on each time, a game could start tomorow and we'd probably have a vaccine before it finished.

What I can’t believe is that some people are falling for it. There is 0% chance of football finishing this season. The only chance there is is scraping next season and re starting in March next season. That makes ‘some’ sense at first. But when you look into it deeper there’s Bob hope ( players contracts, different squads leading to suing by relegated clubs, sponsors/sky/bt agreeing to another disrupted or cancelled season etc, etc) my journo mate told me in early March that footy would be nul and void but the prem league would be voting to see if they ‘award’ Liverpool the title. He wouldn’t say why at the time but looks like he was spot on.

i honestly cant see a vote to award them the title, are they going to vote on relegation and if not then why not, if you can decide the winners you can decide the losers,are they going to vote on top 5 places and get sued by those who miss out,its a massive can of worms and the only way to stop clubs from taking legal action would be null and void, i may be missing something and your mate may be right,just my thoughts

Lads you are all looking at this wrongly.

This isn’t about giving Liverpool the title.

let’s not be silly.

Here’s what it is really about.

1. GAMBLING. Bookies losing a fortune. You also wonder if they let it start again how much domestic abuse will ramp up once degenerates start losing cash while locked in their family homes.

2. JOBS. The media have nothing to write and nobodies reading them. No clicks equals no pay. That’s why they a)want it back and b) really want you retweeting their controversial views right now. Never have they been as exposed as being so irrelevant.

3. MONEY. Sky are on the cusp of losing their subscriber base if the lockdown continues and jobs and money dry up. They are desperate to hook you with that last thing you apparently can’t give up.


That’s it. Don’t get distracted. Don’t fall for their attempts to make it tribal or make you react to their opinions.

Lol! I’ve also just had a look over on RAWK to see how the kings of justice are taking the current situation and suprise suprise I read about 6 pages and not one person mentioned the dead or the risk to family’s etc they are only arsed about that trophy. One poster even said that if clubs refuse to play when it restarts they should get docked points.
