Only just seen John Barnes’ comments. Fair play to him, you’d expect him to jump on the “let’s get it finished” bandwagon, but he said he fully agrees with Aguero and just generally said he thinks it’s a joke. That football should not be deciding when it restarts, it should be the science that decides it.

This. Liverpool will get the 6 points needed and every single high profile first team player of theirs will then be protected and they will fulfil fixtures with kids and imo lose most game gifting points to clubs and harming the sporting integrity of the league re possible relegation.

We aren't looking at a 5 week closed doors, neutral ground fiasco but just the 2 games the dippers need and then shut down on H & S grounds.

Now there's an idea. Just allow them to play the two games and everyone else can stay at home safe.

I wonder if the League might be looking at this as kind of a trial run for taking games overseas each year and playing a couple of rounds with all the clubs in a handful of stadiums, it really is a great cover to see if its workable
