Corruption in English football?

Agree with this perspective. A season or two ago certain refs always seemed to get in the way of the passing channels on the left of our build up play. A few seconds delay is all the opposition need to regain their shape. These days it seems the ref moves faster than our forward play!
I remember those old days where David Silva seemed to be man marked by a ref every game.i can recall Silva throwing his arms up in frustration at the obvious deliberate, slight of hand ,subtle, interruption to our intricate ,left -side of central -midfield build up play.

It was happening regularly under the purple-faced dictator. It seemed like every single cup game they were drawn at home to a lower league club.
And of course the match was always "live" on the tv..to ensure maximum match day revenue for a certain team.
Then of course there was the embarrassingly obvious decisions by 2 ,maybe 3 premier league managers who would deliberately pick a weakened team away at old Trafford,on the basis that they had no chance of winning the match anyway......this of course happened without sanction from the authorities....
Mick McCarthy of Wolves was one who carried out this pathetic ,limp, managerial decision, and I'm pretty sure Club Shop at Stoke was involved too, iirc.

The rags cup draws are the giveaway. So predictable, and they especially stick out more when they get a new manager.
Its utterly disgraceful
They have virtually been given a bye to the league Cup final where as we get Liverpool and Chelsea thrown at us.
FA Cup Chelsea again then Arsenal whilst they get easy ties vs Everton and Reading.
One particular draw was rigged to fuck in the carabao when some ex united player, not sure who it was but he was clearly seen looking at the balls.
Been convinced for a long time that it's fixed.

Last season Milner should have been sent off against us. A straight red for doing Foden clear on goal or 2 yellows later in the game. He wasn't because Sky wanted a nail biting last 15 minutes. It's good for advertising revenue.
And yet people still say it isn't bent. It is not about brown envelopes, it is about looking after the product.
