Cost of guitars n pedal box on planes.

Anyone know the cost of getting these things on planes. And do they just treat it like luggage or do you need to do owt different?

Depending on the money involved in the gig, go minimal and see if you can hire gear abroad. Ive seen/ heard of some real disasters. If you do put a guitar in hold luggage, make sure its in a serious flightcase, the bag throwers wont care. For anything else, phone the airline. Good luck mate!
