Anyone know the cost of getting these things on planes. And do they just treat it like luggage or do you need to do owt different?

I took my guitar to India with me and they took it off me to put it in a safe hold soace at no extra charge. It was fine. Although the poor cunts who had to listen to me might have hoped it got nicked.
