At the time I remember it being around the 30 mill mark, possibly 28. No way was it as low as 24

I seem to remember it being £28m and talk of it being around £30m. Found a website which quotes £40m but are they adding on everything like signing on fee, agents fees etc. I want to get it spot on so the rags I am going to throw it at have no come back.

Latest comenback is it is money generated by club they are spending not a sugar daddy

they are all biting today

Asked a Rag in work out of the City team who he would have in there team and he said he would have 8 asked who the 3 he would keep he said Rooney

You couldn't make it up

He asked me who I would have and when I answered none of them he couldn't believe it but then an Evertonian in the room also stated he wouldn't have any of the Rags for Everton

a rag actually said this to me a few years ago when Chelsea bought Essien, "its just wrong that Chelsea can now just buy all the best players cos they have the most money, we would have got Essien if they didnt have that money"

close the thread, its all bollocks, everyone knows that all uniteds starting 11 joined their academy as foetuses

BUT THEY DID IT THE RIGHT WAY!

They owe their entire existence to a rich man saving them from bankruptcy.

They built their brand on the back of a disaster.

They evicted widows of the victims from their homes

They were the first club to float on the Stock Exchange.

The right way. The United way. GGMU.

Oh right. That's why they are half a billion in debt, is it?

Funny. Everything they were has crumbled.
