Cost of living crisis - how are you all doing?

2-50 euro San Miguel in barca
call me a twat if you like,
but barca is the abbreviated name of the football team.

the abbreviated name of barcelona, the place, is barna.

i used to live there,
that's what the locals call it,
just sayin' :)

I don't know how the average person is supposed to survive in this economy. Yesterday I took my sister out for drinks at our local spot. Two glasses of wine & a bag of cocaine: £500!

Imagine the cost for a whole family.
Change your dealer, it is a buyers market!!

The pubs round here are very quiet. Even for the dippers match on Saturday which is unusual as it’s always busy when they’re on.

It's not been terrible here simply because I've always budgeted somewhat in life. If meat goes on offer I load up the freezer, if it's something I always buy and it's on offer I'll buy it in bulk. If it's too expensive (like most items now) I simply won't buy it or buy an alternative. Everything portioned for the week and meals too.

As for bills it is what it is. I've skipped the pubs for a few years and won't buy luxury items so I can heat the house with money saved here and there. I feel like at home you shouldn't skimp on feeling comfortable because that is the most important part of life is home.

Think that might be to do with summer holidays as well, but prices are silly for a pint these days, thankfully I’ve got into JW Lees stout at might local tastes better than Guinness and it’s £3.80 a pint!
