Costel Pantilimon

Nothing personal towards Pants but he is simply nowhere near good enough to even be a backup for Joe.

completely disagree and for the first time in a long time i have no problems a "second choice keeper" gets the nod for our first choice keeper....

Wasn't overly impressed with Pants today. Watford's second goal he should have done MUCH better.
He seemed more bothered about appealing for offside than actually trying to make a save. Very strange.

And to think that some on here thought he was better than joe

Will be gone in the summer and wish him well. Decent backup but championship level will beckon if he wants to start

He has been lucky in this game and Blackburn away not to give away a pen. Both times clattered one of theirs in the box.

Joe every tome for me.

I reckon we should ditch the backup keepers all together, waste of time tbh and if Hart has a bad run we will just have to live with it..

And if he gets injured I think yaya could go in goal..hes a big fella after all..

FFS.. there are some on here who are either wumming or have the footballing brain of a peanut.

Interesting article

Costel Pantilimon could do with a change of fortune. The man who dislodged Joe Hart as Manchester City's No1 at the end of October was dropped by Manuel Pellegrini after the 6-3 drubbing of Arsenal at the Etihad Stadium a month ago, despite having done little wrong.

I would say Joe was rested rather than Panti dislodging him. And similarly that Joe regained his place rather than Panti being dropped. Not just semantics; Hart is clearly number one in the pecking order.

So you rate him then?

And Joe has been unlucky to make multiple cock up's this season that have cost us points. All keepers make mistakes. When they happen to Pants the rarely costel us. More than happy with him in the squad.
