As long as the team is built around Aguero, we're never going to get the best out of Bony. Bony is a decent player, but like Benteke at Liverpool, you can't just expect him to slot into a system built around a completely different type of striker.

Stranger things have happened I suppose.

Let's not forget only a few years ago a certain Gareth Bale was branded a flop and Spurs almost offloaded him to Birmingham for 3 million.

Will certainly be interesting to see if pep can transform Bony in some way.

That's been his problem since he got here. He isn't good enough to adapt and he isn't good enough to justify the rest of the team adapting to his strengths. He'll do well at some Premier league clubs, he'll even excel. He won't make the grade at City though.

The real question is, 15 years later, are city fans any more tolerant or relaxed about players who may be underperforming bur may turn out to be decent players if we retain some faith.

The answer to that is obvious.

Not sure why, but I have a feeling that if he stays he'll flourish under Pep. He'll be pushed much harder, will finally be in shape, and Pep will ensure that he's in the positions and also gets the chances he needs.
