could our injuries be to our advantage

Before we play spurs , and the rags in April we have West Ham, Bournemouth, Fulham, Cardiff, and palace in the league all winnable games with any member of our squad. I think it will be to our advantage to have dinho , stones, Laporte coming back fresh for the final push for the league.
I would suspect West ham and Watford wouldn't be easy games.
But it was unlikely we would go an entire season with a single defensive mid, and he would remain injury free throughout.
And if we had to choose a period when we could afford to do without him, this would be it, especially with the break.

And Liverpool have an equally difficult set of games as well (with both Watford and Everton having an extra day of rest before playing them)

I thought that KDB missing the first half of the season, would give us a huge advantage when he came back, but he's still not upto speed.

Same could be the case with the injured players albeit they will have been out for less time; they still might not be match sharp for a couple of games.

It’s not the big games I worry about. The hardest games are going away to mid table sides or even lower sides who are decent at home.

Injuries are never helpful, but everyone gets them and have to cope with them. Our squad is better loaded to cope with them and cannot be held up as an excuse should we fall short.

The only good thing that comes from them is giving other players matchtime and a chance to prove themselves. A recent example would be Sean Longstaff at Newcastle who got his chance through injury and looks to be an absolute diamond.
