Could Yaya be under threat??

Could Yaya's place as 100% plays if fit under threat??
Everyone saying Barry, Garcia,Rodwell and Nasri place under threat, yet it is Yaya who slows the pace down a lot of the time. He hasn't been that driving force from midfield this past season.
We are bulking the midfield out which is great and hopefully Isco still to come along as Cavanhi and a couple of cover defenders and keeper.
This is just a thought, we look to be building a quick mobile midfield.

I think Yaya needs a bit more rest than he sometimes gets. Having just extended his contract he will be a big part of our plans. I suspect GB is the most under threat with is contract running out. Personally I think his defensive awareness makes him a very useful squad player but I suspect that he is more likely to go than anyone.

Agree totally - either a kick up the arse or a rest for the odd game so he's at his best. Looked like he needed to attend a Slimming World class over the summer too by the end of the season - some red and green days will do him good.
