the insane thing is that 140 doesnt sound that much more than 113. but its f*cking 27 million more! This market has truly gone mad and I kind of like it. No player in our squad costs even half a Coutinho, and we are supposed to be the big spenders
 
So despite the fact that everyone names City as the club who have ruined Football, bought the title and splashed on expensive players, we don’t possess any of the top 15 most expensive transfers in history! Go figure that

Tbf we did spunk a load on shite originally like Kolo, Bridge, RSC, Adabayor, Robinho etc. Some of our original spending (very early on) was poor and excessive in the market at that time.

Thing is the finger is always pointing at us that inflated the market. It’s the comfort blanket for history clubs.
