Yes I was also at that one think Micky Quinn got both for them, remember tricky Ricky having a great game for us on the wing and yes we were 2 down.Remember one game in that open end pissing down came back from 2-0 to win 3-2

Yes, a cup game. We scored in last minute and it all went off. Loads of lads from Nuneaton and surrounds came up that day apparently. I was on holiday on the day of that match unfortunately.A match at Maine Road too where they invaded the stand after we won. Cowards.

I once got a lift back from Highfield Road in the City team coach. Fucking amazing experience.
The city is poor imo, but it should be forgiven. It was brutilised in WW2. Few towns would recover from that.
Some serious dollar on its doorstep though: Leamington, Warwick and Stratford and their surrounding villages, the apotheosis of upper-middle England.

To be honest, it should have been bombed by the Enola Gay, who must have taken a wrong turn somewhere.is it horrible because the Germans bombed it, or because they didn’t completely finish the job?
