I know his name keeps getting quoted but pjanic would fit the bill nicely imo, young, two footed, lots of energy and as ive said before with dzeko coming we could use him to convince him (that is if they have a good relationship, which i dont know)
Imo a better option than milner who seems to be stuck in a rut of doing f*k all at the min

I haven't seen enough of him to really comment. Milner has been less than impressive. He is a center middie who is the exact same player as Barry but faster. I wouldn't mind interchanging him with Barry but in my opinion he is just not fit out on a wing. I rate the lad but don't know that we ever really needed him.

to be honest ive never rated milner for anythiing but his long range efforts, i always thought he was a just about average player in an average squad so my view might be a bit biased, he probably could be rotated but theres one big issue with that in my eyes, hight or the lack of it in milners case yes he works his knackers of running and gettin stuck in with tackles but i have visions if we start playin him similar to barry hell just get dominated, and breathe haha, as of pjanic i havent seen lots of him but what i have seen of him he reminds me exactly of nasri at marseille and well look how hes turned out

I haven't seen Rosicky's name mentioned in this thread. His playing style is similar to Silva and his vision and passing range is impressive. On the down side he signed a new contract last year but if a reasonable offer is made doubt Arsene would turn it down. We could get a good 2-3 years out of him as a back up and see how Gai and Joan Angel develop.

Failing that go all out for Modric, although he is at the start of a six year contract and doubt he would be happy to play second fiddle to Silva. Another option is Arda Turan, but he would cost a fair bit and not sure if he would settle as quickly as would be required. Diego is also a good shout.
