Cover versions that shouldn't have been released

Hardly a 'cover band'.
A fail is a fail.
How is what I said a fail BT?
You made a statement and it was wrong. It's ok, we all make mistakes.
Enlighten me as which part of what I said was wrong? If I was, fine, but wasn't.

'The band, if not all it's original members are very much alive and gigging'

Five are dead.

Maybe Ringo should get some backing musicians and call them The Beatles.

That new Kid Rock song that rips off both 'Sweet Home Alabama' and Warren Zevon's 'Warewolves of London'

The tosser wold never dare try anything like that if Lynyrd Skynyrd or Warren Zevon were still alive.

2 great songs ruined.

Agree 100%. But he and Skynyrd (what's left of 'em) went on tour together about a year ago.
It does happen. There is a local band here which dont have a single original member. Guns and roses as well.

Just came across this -

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d8OfKdOFR_c" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d8OfKdOFR_c</a>

Cringeworthy!
Only decent bit is at 1:48 with Shane!

And they are alive and gigging. Fact.

At the time of the crash, including backing singers, there were ten members of the band. Minus five you 'claim' makes it that half the band were left. And there are many, many bands still going out with less than half their 'original' line-up.
Also, Skynyrd's line up had always been fluid and changing since their inception.
They the relatives of those killed, and us fans have no trouble with the band that are playing and recording under the name.
It's as valid as many others currently touring.
So, nope, no fail in my eyes.

I will always love you..... Whitney fucking Houston.
Have been known to cut plugs off radios at work when this came on, sometimes I've remembered to unplug them first.
