I don’t like the way we sing it at City. We make it sound dreary somehow. I thought we sung it better in the 90s/00s.

I do like all of those versions though.

I think on another thread I named this my all-time guilty pleasure song. I still love the T Rex original but for whatever reason I think between Robert Palmer’s output and Duran Duran’s (though NOT Tony Thompson’s, RIP), this is the best thing any of them ever did. Maybe that says more about the other stuff they did though.
