For those saying people need to be forced to stay in and not just asked to, do you think there’s actually a practical way of being able to achieve it? They could come out and threaten fines but who’s going to be enforcing it?

Police? Army personnel?

Drove through Cheadle at 6.30 and pubs and restaurants empty as are the roads so maybe people around here are being sensible. Who knows how this will pan out but hopefully we will have fewer deaths by the methods being imposed at the moment. Despite draconian measures in places like Italy infections and deaths seem to be increasing far greater than here.

Company have finally stopped dicking about and said it’s up to us if we work from home now.

I feel they should have ordered it to be honest.

What’s the point in risking it when everyone can work from home if needed.
