Just read this article which suggests that two thirds of patients who fall critically ill are due to Obesity according to NHS data and 40% are under the age of 60.
    • Excess weight against chest makes it harder for muscles to draw in deep breath
    • Weak immune system allows COVID-19 to spread to lungs and cause pneumonia
    • These two factors may explain why two thirds of ICU coronavirus patients obese

Think the Netherlands is being pragmatic. Better to set a distant date that covers major festivals (Easter/King's Day) and commemorations (Liberation Day), as that then allows people to get it into their minds that this will be one long slog. If the ban is lifted earlier, which if people adhere it could be, the greater the relief.

Haha, that is actually one of the rules introduced. Flags have to be left in and no rakes in the bunkers.

Apparently 50% of the Americans diagnosed positive are under the age of 50, the main reason given for this figure is obesity.

health / obesity will have zero to do its catching it. But will have a relation on deaths from it.

everyone is the same on catching it as no one has a defence against it.

The first weekend we were all put on warning, I would guess there were around half as many people in total as usual out and about, over the two days I saw two groups of 13-16 year olds, 10-15 in each, which is bigger than usual, and both times the whole group was swarming all over each other, couldn't have been bunched together any tighter, or making more physical contact in terms of randomly pushing / touching each other, sharing phones constantly, seemingly way more than usual even for teens. I ended up thinking there's some social psychological thing going on with them.
