That’s what they did in China and the rates started to decline

The Chinese approach just wouldn’t be accepted in this country. At best it would be ignored, at worst there’d be civil disorder.

And the country’s geography just makes large scale quarantine impossible, except in a few cases eg Hull. Do you quarantine Manchester, Greater Manchester, the North West? Where would the cut offs be?

There are several small unpopulated islands on our cost, hibre island in the wirral for an example, just set up a quarantine base there send the infected over .

it’s never very tidy though is it. The toilet floor is often very wet .

Not if you use it properly. Anyway, my point was that it's easy enough to live without toilet roll so I'm not sure why people are prioritising that. I'd be much more bothered about stocking up on the stuff that actually makes you need to shit in the first place!

At the start of Feb I predicted 30M dead globally by the year end on here, I’m standing by that. This is just the start and countries are going to give up on tracking it soon when there is no resource, and we’ll see mass containment until the government realise they can’t afford it and accept it, people will die and the government know they’ll be richer if it’s the old people going and will then be business as usual.

At what point do you call 111 ? Like most blokes I am guessing if have flu, ie high temperatures, sweating like a pig, dry cough, wheezing when I breath, can shit through an eye of a needle, no energy, plus I have given by Burnley ticket away already.

Phone them up and ask. You’ve nothing to lose by calling - I think they’ll either advise 1)stay in and stay away from people or 2) go to the local hospital’s testing area then stay in and stay away from people

If there was not mass hysteria in the news ( I notice storms and global warming seem not to be an issue now) and we didn't know about covid, nobody in this country as yet would have noticed anything different from any other year. The two deaths among ill elderly folk could have been caused by seasonal flu without being any concern.

Same could have been said two months into the Spanish Flu pandemic.

to late for that,,they could have done something like that on day 1, day 1 should have been no one enters the UK unless they are UK citizens and then 14 days quarantine, even if you were just coming back off holiday, the Government have had the chance and missed the boat,,not checked Russias stats recently but up to a few days ago they had 1 case which was isolated

My other half has to have 8 of those a day when she gets a chest problem, seem to do the trick.

Did you say they have tested you or ruled out Covid?
