I’ll cc you into the response
BCC if you please. Our government already have my phone number; I don’t want the Chinese filling my spam box.
I’ll cc you into the response
But the self employed can just starve
Sorry if posted earlier not had chance to catch up on overnight posts, Piers Morgan, tosser that he usually is, is rapidly becoming the man of the people taking it upon himself to call out the companies claiming to be essential workplaces.
The replies from people/companies being made to go into work is appalling, the fact this is being advocated by the government is surely part of the herd experiment - what other explanation is there.
The fact India can lockdown 1.3 billion people, whilst we allow the likes of Next, Halfords etc to force people into work shows where government priorities lie.
God knows where we'll all be when we come out the other side of this, stay safe blues
Because...
(A) We trusted China. Those who had experience of the SARS outbreak didn't and are much better off as a result. The country that trusted them the least, Taiwan, is best off of all.
(B) Global air travel. You shut it down on day 1 of epidemics to countries/regions with cases. Not wave through those who are not yet ill. You enforce personal isolation too.
(C) The stats for the viral spread in the west are MUCH worse than in China. A combination of the aging population and the fact that older people in the west tend to live together.
(D) The administration in the NHS and Civil Service moves at glacial velocities. Not only that, they are more incompetent than their private sector equivalents.
(E) Our population and that in the west is generally selfish. If you look at what was actually happening in Lombardy when it was supposedly in lockdown and you will see that it wasn't until 5 days later that they actually were.
(F) The decision to NOT enforce face masks on public transport is just total stupidity. Yes, they dont stop you getting it - that is indeed down to personal hygiene - but they do reduce your droplet aerosol export range from two yards to 6 inches. So they stop you spreading it!
I'm going for Girl A in the sittingroom with the dirty tissue. Here’s the timeline
- Girl A has house drinks with 8 other people 13th of March, our friends Couple B attend
- We see Couple B but don’t touch them, shake hands etc. on Saturday 21st 8 days later
- Girl A tested positive and was in hospital last weekend 20th-22nd
- Couple B, our friends show symptoms yesterday 24th of March
- Girl A tells them she’s tested positive.
- No one else at Girl A’s house party group show symptoms at all.
- Couple B have still be going to work and seeing family etc. so there’s a chance they’ve caught in the meantime.
- We’re only 2 days away from that 14 day window of not showing symptoms.
A total of 3,434 coronavirus patients have now have died in Spain - more than the recorded number of deaths in China where the outbreak began.
Spain now has the world's second-highest tally of COVID-19 deaths after 738 more were reported on Wednesday, the country's deadliest toll in one day.
With 3,434 coronavirus patients dead, Spain surpassed China's toll of 3,285.
Italy still has the most deaths of any nation in the world with 6,820.
Infections in Spain rose 20% from a day earlier to 47,610
Your scrutiny or that of somebody's else? It would be helpful to know about the somebody else if they existso much Uninformed bollocks in this, it beggars belief.
B,C,D and F are total crap that just do not stand up to scrutiny.
They are working on a package for them,it is more complicatedBut the self employed can just starve
The Italian figure is still shocking everytime I see it, seems like only yesterday they overtook China.
