Spain's epidemic is decelerating and peaking. Another decline in new cases today.

2nd graph shows recoveries are beginning to catch hospitalisations (assuming I my Spanish guesswork is right)

I don't know why Gove went on Sky this morning,he wouldn't answer all the questions we want to know,Sophy Ridge kept pressing him but he would't give a straight answer

Another 838 deaths in spain

78,797 cases in total

I think the lack of sleep makes everything seem worse, but thank you and yes, positive thinking, I'm setting up Skype later, with my nephew, who I miss so much, so I think that will do me a world of good.

Keep as much ‘normality’ as possible mate. We’re doing our usual poker nights using an app and having video calls on. So we can all see each other and chat with a beer whilst playing. Next best thing.

I read it, it's warped as are most stories by the bbc.

Ah you are one of those who only believe when Brandon on Facebook posts a link to some dodgy site that reinforces your belief that it’s all a plot to subjugate men or some other retarded bollocks.

If you had read the fucking article why did you attack it using the death rates directly caused by the virus when the article was clearly talking about something else? Is comprehension a problem?

On second thoughts don’t bother. Not in the mood for people’s deluded garbage.

Think of the those who have to isolate for 12 weeks. They are about a week in.

We will get over this. It is hard. I find it difficult to focus on my work too. Very short attention span.

Spains deaths. have doubled in seven days

Sky's Europe correspondent Adam Parsons said: "The pace of which people are dying of the coronavirus in Spain does seem to be stripping even the records established by Italy

"Also, whereas in Italy this outbreak is concentrated in three or four regions up in the north of Italy, in Spain the profile is beginning to change.

"Initially the outbreak was very much focused on Madrid, then Catalonia began to play a part

"But you have pockets now across the entire rest of the country.

Spain deaths confirmed each day:

Sunday 29 March: 838

Saturday 28 March: 832

Friday 27 March: 769

Thursday 26 March: 655

Wednesday 25 March: 738

Tuesday 24 March: 514

Monday 23 March: 462

Sunday 22 March: 394

"Initially the outbreak was very much focused on Madrid, then Catalonia began to play a part

Another 6,549 cases have been reported in the country, bringing the total there to 78,797

I don't know about anyone else but I just cannot sleep at night. I am one of life's little worriers anyhow and this has added a great weight on my shoulders.
I'm one of the many who are are working from home but I'm finding it hard to concentrate on work with so little sleep.
Like everyone I wish we could put the clocks a year forward, let alone an hour:(

I had the same issue a few weeks ago. Decided in the end to get off social media, switch off sky news completely and stick Netflix/Amazon prime on. Gone through about 7 seasons of The Office (US) and now decided to switch to Ozark. Still managed to get work done in-between.

I'm at a stage where i'll stay informed but not overdo it to an extent where i'm seeing COVID-19 news twenty-four hours a day.

Spain also reports nearly 2,000 fewer new cases than the day before. With presumably close to 5,000 critical cases, its death total will inevitably increase, but there should be hope amidst the despair. Let's not concentrate only on the negatives. :-)
