That's sad news man, countries need to donate to others once their numbers start dropping.

I think we will see the biggest human aid mission in history once the first world countries are over this. Africa is fucked - and Brazil might be too.

The problem is that ventilators are not just machines. They need electricity, oxygen, an anaesthetist, anaesthesia, and a highly trained nurse and more.
 
The number of people who have died in Northern Ireland after contracting coronavirus has risen by six to 28.

NATO deploys to London

Around 50 army officers from NATO’s Allied Rapid Reaction Corps have deployed to London to help fight the coronavirus pandemic.

The group includes military planners from the British armed forces as well as French army staff who are serving at the NATO headquarters in Gloucester.

Major Rob Kinnerley said: “We’re there, dependable, we’ve done this before in times of crisis, and we’re ready to react pretty quickly to anything that comes up.

“I think the doctors and nurses have done an amazing job and I’m just happy to shoulder the burden a little bit for everyone.

Out of interest Karen are you an O blood type? There seems to be some consensus that this blood group fight the virus more effectively.

The latest figure in the UK for the number of people that have died after testing positive for COVID-19 is 1,651.

The nations breakdown is as follows:

England: 1651 (a rise of 367)

Wales: 69 (a rise of seven)

Scotland: 60 (a rise of 13)

Northern Ireland: 28 (a rise of six)
