If you were an Italian living in Italy you’re chances of getting the virus are still very low. People returning from Italy seem to be a different matter!
We do like to play a game called "infect the tourist", now that I think about it.

did you enjoy Malaga, a great under rated city.
Agreed, great ice cream and very sunny city (in the Spring at least). I didn't manage to get into the corrida arena but it was nice to see even from the outside.

Just caught up on the 25 pages added to the thread since I went to sleep last night and thought I would offer a summary for anyone looking to avoid a similar slog:

Things might be worse than reported.

Things might be better than reported.

A poster has shared their unique insight that seasonal flu also kills people and so this is nothing to worry about.

Confirmed cases in the UK have increased to 85.

Another poster, with no doubt extensive epidemiological training, indicated there are only seventeen handfuls of reported cases in the UK so there’s really nothing to worry about.

Several posters debated about the efficacy of masks, whilst coughing in to their hands, before shaking on just generally disagreeing.

A poster provided unique insight in to why healthy, young people should not pay too much attention to all of this and just carry on as they usually would.

Tin foil hats have been put on.

Tin foil hats have been burned.

It has been confirmed the Italians are fairly good at expanding outward to conquer.

@aguero93:20 and @Scottyboi are planning a machete duel — first to femur triumphs.

Several posters reckon the government are not being as honest as they usually are with the severity of the situation.

@karen7 is not feeling well but it is likely just a cold picked up from all the sickly depressed bastards that had to struggle through watching our cursed team win another trophy at the weekend.

@tolmie's hairdoo is appalled at the state of gym hygiene, especially given their general reputation of being especially clean establishments. He also found he has not done enough lower body work as getting his apocalypse preparation materials to the loft nearly killed him.

They remain in our prayers.

What about my gout? Surely deserves some prayers?

If its as bad as they are say and it might infect 80% of us then its bloody serious and lock downs bans on large gatherings...travel restrictions should have been done at least a week ago. whatever it takes?

It’s free country you can do what you want, if you personally think it’s a real worry personally for you, then stock up and stay in until it blows over.

nobody is forcing you to travel or go to a large gathering. If you stay in your house you won’t be affected by anyone that does.

nobody is stopping you choosing to take this action if you so wish.

Brace yourselves, it’s going to explode now. It’s well past the point of it being containable in this country. I remember when this thread was 20-30 pages long and was a bit of a joke. We’ll be locking down towns/cities within a few months, maybe less. NHS will be at breaking point, so if you don’t get it early there will be no treatment, you’ll just have to lock yourself in at home and wait to see what happens.
