I said the other week we’d be doing very well if we got away with anything under 20k deaths and you came charging in to shoot me down with a quote of Neil Ferguson saying the 5k figure and pointing out he was a lot more qualified than me to be making that assertion.

I am just pointing out that in that sense I will therefore be proved to be far more correct than he was.

I think they are bemused that with so many equally qualified and celebrated experts in epidemiology from various instututions all having conflicting findings, as this virus is still mainly a mystery to most you only seem to be able to acknowledge the ones whose results back up your very static opinion on all this.
