Did they say why?
My guess having not seen it would be the need for convalescence after invasive ventilation. Whereas the older cohort don't make it to that stage.
That was my thought as well.

‘As President Trump presses for states to reopen their economies, his administration is privately projecting a steady rise in the number of cases and deaths from the coronavirus over the next several weeks, reaching about 3,000 daily deaths on June 1, according to an internal document obtained by The New York Times, nearly double from the current level of about 1,750.’
Christ. How could they even think about opening stuff back up again if that’s even remotely true?
From the rest of the article I would say you are rightDid they say why?

Fair enough. You are absolutely correct. Finger trouble in the sum function.
Here is the corrected data:
I will leave the original as I don't mind owning my mistakes.
It is a contradiction between stay at home and save lives. But that mantra is about to change. The cabinet/SAGE have signposted that. Football is a small aside to that.Sigh, players and staff get close during training, you can test negative in the morning and positive in the evening, many scientists say that, they are in a closed group till they get in their cars and go home to their families, are you going to tell kevs pregnant wife there is no risk? when games start i don't need to tell you about the contact they have, the injuries leading to them going for scans or hospital treatment, are they going to test the ball boys and the other 300 they need for a match day staff,we know a large amount have it but no symptoms and are spreading it,we are told no close contact with anyone outside of our households but they can get back to training??
I don't think he will care and that is a horrible thing to say about anyone,he wants america open for the election,i think he has misjudged this, only the idiots he has whipped up will rush outAnother way of looking at that is an additional 100,000 deaths by June.
it is not just players though is it,there is a lot of people that are also needed, coaches, physio ,drs, kit men,it is nowhere near a closed group, why the rush, why do you want players you love risking a contact sport when everyone else is keeping their distance and will be for months yet,i don't get it,this pandemic is not a sprint,it is a very long marathonIt is a contradiction between stay at home and save lives. But that mantra is about to change. The cabinet/SAGE have signposted that. Football is a small aside to that.
The PL is more awkward than the CL to complete. In the CL you could totally isolate the players for a 2-3 week period and they would be a closed group. In the PL it is more difficult because it will take about a month to complete. They could if they wanted isolate the group. I have no idea what their plans are but it doesn't look anything like as impactful on society as a significant increase in economic activity which is imminent. You may not feel comfortable with it. Who is? But we have to see what the impact is and manage it because we can't stay in lockdown forever.
Astonishing point on Ch4 news tonight.
80% of COVID-19 patients remaining in hospital are under the age of 40!
Money, money, money, money, money.it is not just players though is it,there is a lot of people that are also needed, coaches, physio ,drs, kit men,it is nowhere near a closed group, why the rush, why do you want players you love risking a contact sport when everyone else is keeping their distance and will be for months yet,i don't get it
I am not interested in whether the Premier League returns or not.it is not just players though is it,there is a lot of people that are also needed, coaches, physio ,drs, kit men,it is nowhere near a closed group, why the rush, why do you want players you love risking a contact sport when everyone else is keeping their distance and will be for months yet,i don't get it
Money, money, money, money, money.
And the other reason is money.
Its farcical. Football is not subject to different rules from anyone else.
