True life example, I’ve had one of my customers contact me today, a car servicing & repairs business on the Fylde Coast, who have asked me to take the “we are closed” message off their website from tomorrow morning as they are opening on limited hours.

“Stay home” unfortunately doesn’t cut it for them if they want their business to survive.

Do you feel the previous methods to protect the vulnerable worked?

I agree it is time to get things going again but as an older person I have very little confidence that "lessons will be learnt" from the recent happenings.

I protected my vulnerable older people. I don’t see why we can’t.

Yeah we all know that. But we also know the govt won't just come out and say it because they know what the consequences. The biggest thing about the slogan isn't the words it's the colors. It's green for go whilst pretending to be cautious and then falling back on the cautious when the consequences hit.

I don’t wish to have unnecessary argument needless to say the govt have been far from perfect on this and they locked down without a plan of how you unlock , which is the hardest and most difficult part.

. The slogan it’s bit meh for me. I understand it but there Are far more significant things to criticise them on . I await 7pm.

Immunity response from asymptomatic individuals is being investigated by PHE.

My cousin is a doctor and early on she contracted it. Her family all got tested and all had it. The adults were ill but the children had it asymptomatically. Her family is now being followed up by PHE with antibody testing (along with others). She has a very strong antibody reaction. She is waiting to see if her children do. PHE are trying to understand the question of whether asymptomatic patients generate immunity. I don't know more than that as the info came through family.

I was quite heartened by this as it demonstrates PHE are on the case and much work is going on which we don't know about.

Rather than have a minister presenting briefing everyday, I'd prefer it if a Dr each day would give us an update on the medical science. That is after all what is going to be decisive. The government is there just to ensure that the scientists get support and to act on their recommendations.
