England hospital deaths are really low again. 10 with zero yesterday (second day on the run with no on the day deaths) and just 1 of the 10 from the NW.

For comparison last week it was 22 with 0 from day before and 3 from the NW. The week before it was 47. So it has halved every week over those weeks From 47 to 22 to 10.

England hospital deaths now read:

21 July after 1 day = 0

20 July (added 3) after 2 days = 3

19 July (added 3) after 3 days = 7

18 July (added 1) after 4 days = 11

17 July (added 1) after 5 days = 7 - lowest 5 day total and 4th sub 10 five day total in past week.

The 10 England hospital deaths were aged between 50 and 97 and all had known underlying health conditions.

All settings deaths only a little down on last Wednesday. It was 85. Today it is 79. So out of hospital deaths are falling but maybe not as fast as hospital ones and now running several time the number of hospital deaths per day.

In this case 11 in hospital v 68 out.

Last week it was 24 in hospital v 61 out.

New cases were 560 up from 445 yesterday but test numbers were higher at 142,559 v 101, 741.

Pillar 1 and 2 were 121, 694 v 84. 093 - so well up. 50% increase in the relevant tests for a 25% rise in resulting positive cases.
