I thought I was calm but as this ramps up so do my stress levels. My missus is like "what ever" but I just wake up thinking about it. Too be fair coming on here is keeping me sane. At least I know I'm not the only one going bonkers.

I think it’s the over way round for me on here - some of all this on here is making me feel sick with worry.

Find it for me please

"Of course there is a risk," he said. "But on average one person infects two or three others.

"You therefore have a very low probability of infecting a large number of people in a stadium, or a rather higher probability of infecting people very close to you, and that means most of the transmission tends to takes place with friends and colleagues in close environments, not in the big environments.

"It is true that any cancellations of things can have some effect (but) if you then get a displacement activity, when everyone congregates somewhere else, you may have perversely an increased risk, particularly in an indoors environment.

"So it doesn't mean you should at some point make the decision for the resilience point that has been discussed, but this is not a major way to tackle this epidemic.

"The major ways are to try and reduce and delay the transmission across households and people who have become infected and that why that is the concentration of the first actions."
He didn't say that you can't get it at a football match or large gathering, but that it's much less likely than giving it to your families and coworkers or people you're sharing a pub with so those are the more effective ways to stop the spread.

Was round at my parents’ earlier and my mum, who is quite a hardy and pragmatic soul usually, does seem genuinely worried by this. She’s 73 and asthmatic, but otherwise relatively youthful for her age. I’d assumed she’d just take this in her stride but she looked scared and vulnerable in a way I’ve never seen before. Not really sure why I’m sharing this, but it’s kind of brought the grim reality of the situation crashing home tonight.

Indian officials...

By their powers combined...
I raise you the archbishop of Milan climbing up to the roof of the cathedral to pray the statue of the Vergin Mary that's stationed up there.

I absolutely trust them, too, I have never really had an issue there. This is more daily care that my family needs to see to, and some of the younger members are proving to be less than reliable, unfortunately.

And I am very glad to hear you have beaten the cancer, by the way!

How is Almería in general, apart from impacts of the impending restrictions? Are you seeing any general changes is behaviour?

My cousin (who I am working with to manage care of few elders in Barcelona) says they are finally starting to see lower traffic near their home in Sants, which is usually quite busy. Zaragoza seemed to have started to see a slow down last week (though it’s obviously not nearly as busy as Barcelona).
My wife suffers badly with arthritis so the comparative dryness here makes her quality of life better.
As you know this area (Huércal overa) suffered badly re Franco etc. so a little bit of catching up re say infrastructure is happening but still a little left rather than right wing here.
We are about half an hour away from the Med so value for money re most food and even housing a factor.
The local younger Spanish) people now buying newer houses ie squarer rather than traditional cortijos so things are changing slightly.
Don't know about the North but everything here is so mañana I love the tranquil nature of life in the campo.
Medical care is via Andalucia and for me so much better than UK. Mostly agricultural area so a lot of produce peppers, tomatoes etc go to UK so they need a negotiated Brexit.
Tonight is so light of normal traffic people seeming to be practising for monday.

Do you not think that family members might be tweeting out all over the place that there was nothing wrong with the victims if that was the case?

I would have thought that we would have seen more instances of this from all over if all government's were manipulating this fact.
I'm not saying they didn't have other health probs but as i say how relevant are they?

Yeh. I was diagnosed with a bone marrow failure disease in October last year. There's not a cure for it, but I have an infusion every two weeks that help manage the condition and keep my alive. But essentially, I have pretty much no immune system as my bone marrow doesn't produce enough cells. I'm 34, and it was a massive shock coming to terms with what happened and how life would be going forward. Just getting to grips with it and then corona happens, and although initially wasn't too concerned, the more I read.... The more it feels all a little bit scary.
That’s terrible. Not really sure anyone can say anything to allay your fears because for sure this is shit scary. Just know you’re not the only one feeling the way you are so you're certainly not alone. All you can do is take as many precautions as you possibly/practically can to protect yourself.

Thanks i couldn't find it
Do you not find it strange that he says low risk at a stadium and more likely to get it close contact situations but he didn't mention getting to the stadium and being packed on a train and in the pub etc? how is that any different and not worthy of a mention? he deliberately left that bit out as he did not want to shut down mass gatherings because he is persuing this herd immunity angle
