Had a tiler in recently who spent half an hour trying to persuade me that it was one big conspiracy. When I had finished listening to him, all the time nodding every so often I asked him who was behind this global situation given that millions of people must be in on it. He told me that was a conversation for another time. Thankfully he finished the job (a bloody good one as well) before we had that conversation. Good to see that it’s not just the match day thread that brings out the idiots.

It's so odd from day one. So many rule changes every week. It's so confusing

At first you didn't have to wear a mask, now you do.

Outside you couldn't go fishing/golfing with a mate, but the news said you could protest in numbers

Small shops had to close, but big supermarkets and corporations stayed open, their shares prices almost tripled from pre covid

With all the mask shaming, shaming people for seeing friends/family, false numbers, death certificates that show covid and not actually being the death etc.

Its disgusting how the goal posts keep changing and we sort of just nod and deal with it. It's really bullshit to me. Its got to the point where herd immunity sounds like a good plan rather than being treated like cattle

Regards the masks, I have 2 theories but both could run at the same time:

1) We simply didn’t have the gear. They saw how we behaved around fucking toilet roll and didn’t want a repeat

2) They once thought air-bags could save kids lives when also in car seats. Then they found the airbag was actually crushing them - I.e one theory then the evidence changes so the advice changes
