Fucking hell i was unlucky to get it at the very start of march then
I don't think you were, this story isn't very substantiated, the virus was already spreading widely by early March, there would have been many asymptomatic cases by then, and you only needed to come into contact with one of them, just as she would have done, you were just luckier then she was.

I reckon the villa fan who went to wembley already sick ,who ended up in intensive care, was probably one of many,i do chuckle to myself that i have spent over a decade in my bubble at home with agrophobia and i get out of it and get hit with a deadly virus ! Gotta laugh really, typical of my luck

Yeah, almost unbelievable.

There's a story this morning that at least 1/8 of those that caught it, caught it in the hospital where they were treated at. So at the time being in hospital wasn't the best place to be.
Yep from the cleaners and catering staff for the most part Hence why all staff had to mask up eventually.
It's pathetic how long it took the NHS to work out the means of transmission to be honest.

Another late night u turn, kids will wear masks in secondary schools
I should bloody wdll hope so they aren't youngsters with little viral load in their breath. They can wear them in their social distancing (NOT) groups too, to stop spreading it to their elderly relatives while they're at it.

Yes that bit was a mess, but as it was so early on we really had no understanding of the spread of it all.

It's a bit like the story today of the 75 year old woman from Nottingham who was the "first" to catch it within the UK, yet she must have caught it from somebody else, so she couldn't possibly be the first, we had no idea when it started spreading here, it certainly wasn't when cases and deaths started rising, that much is for sure, I'd say people had it asymptotically in late January at the very least, they shouldn't stop at that woman being the "first" case, in fact we shouldn't even be worrying about that right now, we should be concentrating on how we prevent the spread now and the next few months.
