been off this thread for 9 days or so on holidays, i found it amazing how much i could switch off from covid. weird.

anyway, i have a qu re Lancashire lockdown i am trying to settle with a mate, if anyone knows;

we cannot meet another house inside or in gardens but we can lawfully meet another household (in the rule of 6) either in public places or in a pub/restaurant? true or false?

very tough call on LBC, Mother of a 14 year old son who took his own life during lockdown - she says she is being contacted by many other mothers who have lost their children to suicide during this pandemic.

so for those who constantly attack the young, take a second think.

The 'Sheep' abuse thrown is f*ckin tedious

Do you believe the Government are working on a Vaccine to install microchips in our body ?
Do you believe people are getting the virus from 5g masts ?

If you don't belive the above then you are a sheep
As a good rule of thumb in life, anyone who calls people "sheep" or "sheeple" is a massive moron.

it's sad, but that's why we have to have schools open. It's also why youngsters in particular, but people of all ages, need to start abiding by the rules and stop pissing about together in bars and on the streets, start wearing their masks etc. If these others won't play by the rules, we'll have stricter lockdowns and more problems like you mention. So it's exactly those people who have been criticised who need to own the above.

Its not ADVISED

If you live in the affected local area, you must not meet or host people you do not live with in private homes or gardens unless they are in your support bubble. In addition to these restrictions, we advise that you should not:

  • socialise with people you do not live with, unless they’re in your support bubble, in any public venue. This applies to inside and outside of the affected areas. Examples of public venues include pubs, restaurants, cafes, shops, places of worship, community centres, leisure and entertainment venues, or visitor attractions and parks

Spot on.
I read something yesterday that said if it were the other way round and covid was wiping out the kids, the parents and grandparents would do absolutely anything to protect them

True as far as i know. Loads of places in Penwortham where i live that clearly advertise mixed groups up to 6 is totally fine under the new rules.

It seems to depend on the venue. My son had a table booked in a pub with 5 of his mates on Saturday night. No questions asked. I had a table booked for Sunday lunch yesterday for 4. Got a call from the restaurant Saturday to say if we weren’t one household we couldn’t come. My sister took my elderly parents, in their 80s to lunch last week. They were asked for evidence of their address, to prove they were one household, which they hadn’t all got, and asked to sit on separate tables. No logic at all.
