This can't be about squeezing an extra percentage out for furlough, it's gone beyond this, both in terms of the money the government even have left, and the real doomsday scenario this region is now facing.

I made a few sensible points and was jumped upon by the gym mafia. Lol so pedantic but thats ok, It's city. X

FWIW, after the lockdown was released I gradually went back to having a decent quality of life including going to the pub once a week, visiting relatives, picking up work, going to voluntary gardening groups and even having a kickabout on one occasion.

For the last week, I have reverted to living like in the lockdown. I have done some long walks and exercises in the house to try to improve my fitness. I’ve also been watching TV box sets.

That said, an extended second full lockdown would be worse this time around because of the worse weather making it harder to be outside and have a socially distanced chat / drink with the neighbours.

Yet in March we had thousands dying everyday and still never used the nightingale hospitals.... why would we now when it’s in the 100’s a day and we can treat it better.

The nightingales weren’t ready until May mate, far too late to be used, when I was there they had 10 in and a month later it shut down as we came out of lockdown. The facts are they don’t have the staff for 400 patients in the Manchester one without retirees coming back and hospitals closing down vast departments to man them. The only thing they do is concentrate all Covid patients in one area, they don’t help the normal hospitals out in anyway apar5 for prevent spread infection. No staff to carry out normal day to day stuff, will mean cancellation of operations, treatments etc.

Dont know about you lot, but i'm still following the rules from the first lockdown.
Work from home if you can.
Essential travel only
No mixing with other people unless essential.
Wash hands. Sanitise.
I wore a mask from day 1 while shopping.
I'm not claiming to be an expert here, but its not rocket science is it?
Ffs and if I hear one more moron going on about mental health, and moaning that the gym isnt open I swear to god they'll get it. There was no fucking gyms 30 years ago you twat.
Work was all the fitness you needed. You're sat behind a desk all day eating greggs, that isnt work. Get a grip.

It's all about theoretical "capacity", just like most of what the government has done tbh. Shouting about big numbers, when the reality is that there isn't nearly enough manpower to actually realistically fulfil those numbers, just like with their testing bullshit.
