So we are comparing an over populated island like the UK with a population of 66m with one in the middle of nowhere with just under 5m population. That seems a sensible thing to do. My point was countries similar in size in Europe in terms of population or substantially smaller are all going through lockdowns.

We're doing well compared to Belgium, if you multiply up their population and deaths to the same as ours, today is equivalent of 120,000 cases, and more than 850 deaths, and they've been in lockdown for a week, and it's got the European parliament HQ.

But you are slagging him off without knowing the facts. Have you thought it might be as simple as the media wouldn’t be ready by 4 or that the unions wanted urgent talks which delayed things. I doubt whether it was because Boris wanted to watch the rugby

Have u ever been to New Zealand? You can travel for miles and barely see a soul. Its sparsely populated and totally different to the UK. I went years back drove the distance of Manchester to Birmingham and saw like 5 villages. New Zealand isn't conparable to the UK one bit
