They are numbers taken from a demographic that are at far greater risk of death and that is the important point here being missed.
The mortality rate does not apply equally to all in this instance because for the vast majority of the worlds population it simply is not a lethal virus.
Well it will kill me. I am only 41 but it would do me in as I have no immune system to fight it off. For me this is a serious matter.

Been to a head teachers meeting today for my area and it’s being planned that schools will close two weeks before the Easter holidays so effectively a 4 week break
I should bloody think so too, needed to have been shut a week ago if not more.
Could it be that kids are the worst for spreading this thing due to having very mild if any symptoms therefore not being noticed as a carrier?

He'll be about -4/5% happy today then.
You're just noticing it more...Maybe - but tonnes of people seem to be coughing ans struggling or under the weather at the moment.
The point is they shouldn't be out and about.
